I'm pleased to be participating in the must read fun again this year!  All the books on my list are new 2022 releases (see publishing dates for each book listed below).  I hope this reading goal motivates me to read more books throughout the year so I can introduce these new titles to my students.  I'll provide updates on my reading in April, September, and December.  Below are my lists of new picture books and chapters books to read in 2022:

  1. I have a couple of these books on my list, too. There are so many more here that aren't on my list that I actually do want to read. I don't know how I'm ever going to find the time to read all the books I want to get to this year!

  2. You have some great books on your list. I'll be looking forward to reading many of them too. I loved the first Amari book so I'll be especially looking forward to this one.

  3. After reading a few of these posts, it appears that March is a wonderful month for MG titles. So many good ones coming, and I still have so many from 2020 and 2021 I still want to read! It should be a good year for reading!

  4. This is a great set of books for the challenge! I actually included another book by Dan Gemeinhart on my list, The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise, since I've had a copy waiting on my shelves for a while now. Also, kind of entertainingly, I saw that you included Key Player by Kelly Yang, and it reminded me that I wanted to read one of the ones that wasn't in the Front Desk series, so I actually included New From Here on my #MustReadIn2022 list—and then I realized that's actually on your list as well! Thanks so much for sharing!
